Kevin Hermening has dedicated his life to service: first to his country, then to his community, and now to the people of Wisconsin. A proud Marine veteran, business owner, and civic leader, Kevin brings discipline, accountability, and real-world experience to every challenge he faces.

He served 13 years in the United States Marine Corps, including as a Marine Security Guard at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran. When Kevin was taken hostage and held for 444 days, the experience strengthened his faith, resilience, and lifelong commitment to serving others.

After returning home, Kevin built a successful career as a business owner and financial advisor, founding Hermening Financial Group. For decades, he has helped families and businesses plan for the future while developing deep experience managing complex systems like budgets, regulations, and risk.

Kevin’s proven record as a community leader includes years of service on his local school board, including time as president. He stood up for parents and local control, fighting government overreach and mask mandates that stripped communities of their freedom to choose. His leadership ensured that families had a real voice in decisions affecting their children.

Now, Kevin is running for Congress to bring Marine Corps leadership, discipline, accountability, and service to Washington. He is focused on results, not rhetoric, and ready to govern responsibly, strengthen economic opportunity, support working families, and protect local decision-making.
